I am now nearly ending my contract in MS – so that means time for a new one!
I really am very thankful for all the blessings the Lord has given for the past year – for the chance of letting me work in this company I never dreamt of working in and for letting me know more about myself and my capabilities. What have I realized along the way?
- We control laziness. As I have always believed in, life is a choice. So if one really wants to lose weight, then one can lose weight if one has the self control (which I really don’t have lots of times especially when served with a heapful of rice and delicious filipino food).
- It is not just enough to believe. We have to do it. Actions speak louder than words. Words bear fruit if done. That is why I really look up to people who don’t say much but do more.
- Give yourself a chance. Don’t kill yourself too much. I put too much pressure on myself at times that I tend to overlook the whole picture. And sometimes I tend to be the opposite, I feel like I could not do one thing anymore and is on the brink on giving up. We can do it. Believe and do.
- Plan and discipline. It is hard to go on to a journey without a roadmap. Yes, adventures are cool but if one has a time limit and dependents, one cannot afford to just go on without a plan. But of course, make sure you have fun along the way!
As said in the previous point, don’t kill yourself. - Don’t work yourself out. Have a social life! (Again, don’t kill yourself. LOL.) Your social life boosts your work life. It is good to have a sense of balance. And make sure you retain your hobbies (if you have hobbies).
I will continue this post later. I will be adding insights on what I have observed so far in my experience here.
